A few of my favorite things.

Two of my favorite things in the world right now are pears and this red scarf. I couldn't resist the look of the colors and textures together, so I marched over to Cornerstone's shiny new photography studio and snapped some shots.

Get yo swag on....whip mah hair.

Here is a photo of a baby that is on the blog...it will entice you to click on the link, yes?

The Golden Eagles come in for a huddle before the action begins at a home game on Sept. 29, 2010. The Cornerstone University women's volleyball team played against Aquinas College.

Emma Kelly and Paul Ochoa celebrate a snowy Valentine’s Day. The couple met during high school and they have been together for five years.

Mudbowl is an annual homecoming tradition at Cornerstone University. Each class competes in flag football for the title of Mudbowl Champions. The catch - the game is in a field of pure mud. Sophomore, Joy McFadden, gets down and dirty in a pink formal gown. She may look like a girl, but she doesn't play like one.

Lainey Simms, age 8, stands in front of Snider and Hocking’s ArtPrize piece called, Relics. All the items in Relics were found in abandoned buildings and junkyards in Detroit, Mich.

Cornerstone University's Bryan Pasciak and Grace Bible College sophomore Ryan Dame make a jump for the ball. The Cornerstone men's basketball team played their first game of the season on Nov. 9 at Grace.

Balloons from Robert Bose’s ArtPrize entry stretch across the Grand Rapids skyline. Thick fishing line, wind, and helium hold hundreds of balloons suspended over the Grand River for the piece titled, Balloon Chain. Bose was inspired to make Balloon Chain after using balloons as a way for him and his girlfriend to keep track of each other when they were at Burning Man in the desert. “It’s not the best story ever,” Bose said, “but that’s how it happened!”
